UK’s first L’Occitane Spa to open in Bath

The UK’s first L’Occitane Spa is set to open in The Bath Priory hotel on November 28.

The Garden Spa by L’Occitane will be a relaunch of the hotel's existing spa offer and will feature exclusive treatments created in partnership with French skincare brand L’Occitane.

It will feature four refurbished treatment rooms, including one dual room, each themed to reflect key L’Occitane ingredients such as verbena and lavender.

The spa will also feature a new relaxation room with double doors opening onto the gardens, creating a dual space for guests to relax before or after treatments.

There will also be a nail bar offering manicures and pedicures, and a retail space dedicated to L’Occitane’s products.

The signature treatment will be the 60-minute Verbena Relaxing Massage, which combines Swedish effleurage, Chinese acupressure and Balinese massage techniques to stimulate circulation, ease tension and relieve stress.

The spa will also offer L’Occitane facials, such as the Immortelle Secret of Youth, which smooths and firms, as well as body massages including Aromachologie Relaxing Massage, which promotes sleep.

Other body treatments including scrubs and wraps will also be available, as well as treatments designed especially for men and for pregnant women.
