With summer finally here, how can I convince clients to try pedicure nail art?

As the weather heats up, your foot treatments will get more popular and this is the perfect time to start advertising nail art for feet in your salon.

Try running an exclusive offer for pedicure treatments with free nail art at the start of the summer season to tease in those who haven’t had adventurous designs on their toes before. This will give clients the chance to try the treatment out and you’ll find many will return and want it done again.

Your technicians should also wear nail art on their toes because this will grab your clients’ attention and open up the conversation to talk about nail designs. You should take pictures of your work and display them in books and frames on the walls, desk or waiting area for clients to look at.

Displaying nail art designs on colour pops or wheels in your nail treatment area will also pique interest and you can even hand them out to clients to look at during treatments. When clients book in for a pedicure, ask them if they would like to have nail art as well. Don’t worry about this being perceived as pushy. If it’s not on offer for them to see or you’re not offering it to them directly then they won’t know that it’s available.
