Bliss launches to independent spas at Professional Beauty 2011
Spa group Bliss is launching a capsule range of its treatments to independent spas at Professional Beauty 2011. The US-based spa chain, which is part of the Steiner group - the company that also owns Elemis skincare and Mandara spas, has traditionally only allowed its own Bliss-branded spas to perform Bliss treatments but it is now extending its remit to take the products and treatments to other spas globally, launching first to UK spas this weekend. Bliss is also launching a spa certification programme, meaning spas that take its treatments can brand themselves as Best of Bliss spas. The spa therapists will be trained on the Bliss Masters programme, which includes retail and customer service tips as well as treatment training. Once certified, the spas will also be able to retail Bliss products. Bliss chief executive Mike Indursky said: 'This is a natural progression for Bliss and rest assured our training programme and selection process will ensure the Bliss standard is maintained. We are very excited to be spreading the bliss and working with the best in the business to outreach our services beyond our flagship spas.'
