Campaign launches to ban cosmetic animal testing globally
Lush Cosmetics and Humane Society International/Europe (HSI) have launched a global campaign to end animal testing for cosmetics. The campaign highlights the need to ban sales of cosmetics tested on animals abroad. At present the UK and European Union has already banned cosmetics animal testing. Lush and HSI is rolling out the campaign across 48 countries and more than 700 Lush stores across the European Union, US, Canada, India, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and Russia. HSI will also be working with politicians, regulators and scientists to end cosmetic cruelty with nationwide consumer campaigns in each country.
