Celeb therapists boost brands at Professional Beauty show
Beyond the buzz among visitors following Amy Childs's and Lauren Goodger's product launches at this month's Professional Beauty show, many of the show's exhibitors also saw a boost from beauty-trained celebs visiting their stands to pick up products. Model and reality TV star Katie Price, who recently qualified as a nail technician, was snapped on the OPI stand where she picked up some new polishes. She also visited the Shared Beauty Secrets stand, to see the new Lava Bambu self-heating massage. 'Katie had the massage at her home the following week and was so impressed that she's since booked in for more,' said the company's director Clare Anderson. The Only Way is Essex star Billi Mucklow, who owns the Belles and Beaus beauty salon in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, also came to the show with fellow cast member Cara Kilby. The pair were spotted at the Crownbrush UK stand stocking up on some make-up brushes from the pro range including a blending brush, deluxe sable shader and angle contour blush brush. The girls also visited OPI and Crazy Angel to stock up on nails and tanning products.
