Ian Bailey leaves Lifehouse to join Leisurejobs
Ian Bailey has stepped down from his role as general manager of Lifehouse spa, Essex, to join recruitment firm Leisurejobs as commercial director. At Leisurejobs, Bailey will head up the hotel and spa division, responsible for securing and maintaining group contract opportunities in the sector. He will also help grow the company, which has plans to expand its staff by more than 50% in the next 12 months. Prior to joining Lifehouse last year, Bailey was managing director of skincare line Anne Sémonin. He has also held senior roles at spa skincare brands Elemis and Espa and spa chain Champneys. Leisurejobs chief executive Marc Moreso said: 'Leisurejobs has had incredible growth over the last two years and with over ten consecutive quarters of record sales, we felt it was the time to invest in an employee of Ian's calibre. He added: 'Our plans include the expansion of our 50 staff to 78 staff over the next 12 months and we see Ian as a pivotal player in our company's growth, helping the group strengthen its hold in the hotel and spa sector.' Bailey said: 'I am delighted to be joining [Leisurejobs] to assist in continuing to build the business.'
