Largest Amida Spa planned for Farnham
The largest Amida Spa to date will open in December at a new 6,000sq m David Lloyd Leisure facility in Farnham, Surrey. The £12m club will house a 1,013sq m Amida Spa with six treatment rooms, four sauna rooms, a relaxation area, experience rooms, a spray tanning room and nail studio, as well as outdoor sauna cabins and a spa pool. It will be the sixth Amida Spa to open. The other five are located at Harbour Club or David Lloyd facilities in Beckenham, Chelsea, Hampton, High Wycombe and Notting Hill. The new club will be located next to Farnham Rugby Club in Wrecclesham. As well as housing the largest spa of any David Lloyd Leisure club, it will feature a range of sporting and fitness facilities and a DL Kids dedicated area for children and families. There will be a 25 metre indoor swimming pool and separate children's pool. Newly-appointed general manager Linden Henson, who previously managed DLL Chigwell in Essex, said: 'Our Amida Spa, the largest of any DLL club in the country, will be simply stunning - a haven of relaxation, offering the latest products and techniques, to make each member's visit a truly memorable experience.' The opening is part of a wider expansion plan for David Lloyd and Amida. Picture: Amida Beckenham
