Male grooming brands back Movember
Professional male grooming brands have signed up to support men's cancer charity Movember, which encourages men to get sponsored for growing a moustache for a month. Specialist men's skincare line VitaMan has started a 'VitaMo' team of men who will show their support next month by growing a 'tache. The team will be captained by Bath Rugby star David Flatman who will be joined by several members of his rugby team, as well as VitaMan UK staff including managing director Neil Owen. The month-long challenge will finish with a VitaMo Awards Party to reward the best efforts in five categories including Man of Movember, Lame Mo and Miss Movember. Meanwhile, Jason Shankey, the chain of male grooming salons and products, has set up a team fronted by its founder Jason Shankey and comprising several staff and clients from across his salon group. The chain will also offer free moustache trims and 'mo styling' in its branches throughout the month and will shave off clients' moustaches at the end of Movember if they have raised some money for the charity. All money raised will go towards helping men with prostate or testicular cancer. To join or support Vitaman's team see For Jason Shankey's team see
