Matis eyes UK salon and spa market growth with new partner
Matis Paris has partnered with beauty brand management consultancy The Red Tree to deal directly with UK salon and spa stockists. The leading French skincare brand has been established in the UK market for 20 years and through this new arrangement has plans to drive Matis Paris to higher levels of expertise and build a long-term professional partnership with UK salons and spas. The Red Tree, whose management has had 30 years in the beauty industry, will market the brand, as well as offering product training and education for salons. Stirling Murray, chief executive of The Red Tree, said: 'We are delighted to be partnering with Matis Paris at this early stage of their long-term UK strategy. Matis is excellent in its formulation, has technical expertise and offers a high-quality service that is strongly focused on salons and spas.' Matis Paris has more than 120 retail products and 20 salon treatments for face and body. It is currently available to the UK market online, but this will eventually be phased out. It is distributed online in the UK by Cosmetronic. Matis will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2012.
