OPI to launch first UK standalone store
OPI's UK distributor Lena White is gearing up to open a large flagship store in London's Westfield shopping centre this month. For the first time, the OPI nail brand will be available alongside the other beauty brands that the distributor sells: organic tanning line VIta Liberata and advanced skincare line Caviar of Switzerland. The store, which will be called Colourcopia, will also house treatment stations offering OPI manicures using the brand's polish colours as well as its new gel polishes. OPI is currently sold in department stores including Harrods and John Lewis and has a concession in Selfridges, London, that offers manicures as well as retail products but Colourcopia will be its first UK standalone store. OPI was sold to US cosmetics giant Coty in December. The retail specialist company has pledged to keep a strong salon focus for OPI.
