Shiseido appoints new chief executive
Japanese skincare house Shiseido has appointed Hisayuki Suekawa aschief executive and president. Suekawa, who was promoted from the role of corporate executive, will take up his new position on April 1. Shiseido's existing chief executive Shinzo Maeda will move into the role of chairman from April. UK Shiseido Group chief executive Carolyn Taylor said: 'I am delighted with the news of the appointment of Hisayuki Suekawa as President & CEO of the Shiseido group. I very much look forward to see both the continued development of the brand and unwavering dedication to innovative technology that Shiseido is globally renowned for under his guidance. This will be clearly seen in exciting future new product development and launches that the UK will be involved in.'
