Skin Essentials by Mariga eyes UK salons and spas for growth
Irish skincare brand, Skin Essentials by Mariga, is now available for wholesale to beauty salons and spas in the UK. The cosmeceutical skincare range launched in 2010 and only recently rolled out the wholesale side of its business two months ago in Ireland. The brand's founder, Mariga Sheedy, believes now is the right time to launch the product in the UK after being pleasantly surprised by the interest shown through UK salons via LinkedIn and Twitter. Skin Essentials by Mariga addresses the cause of skin problems, not the symptoms to give lasting results. The brands ethos is that acne is controlled, lines and wrinkles reduced and kept at bay, and sensitive skin is calmed and normalised. Sheedy intends to help salons owners with a business model that benefits salons and their clients the most. She said: 'There are no minimum orders, allowing salons to access the brand within a budget that is comfortable to them so that they can gradually build it up as the demand increases and results come in.' She continues: 'I think in these economic times that salons are looking for results which will bring a client back again and also bring referrals, rather than a product that has overdone celebrity endorsement, which I believe the public is heartily sick of.'
