Vale Resort has £250k refurbishment
Wales' largest spa The Vale Resort at Hensol has undergone a £250k refurbishment. The refresh saw the spa, which includes new features such as its chill-out, water and sleep relaxations zones, awarded the five-bubble rating from the Good Spa Guide. In addition to the four new relaxation zones, the spa has taken on an exclusive range of Sundari treatment, created by supermodel Christy Turlington. The Indian-inspired Sundari treatments are based on ayurvedic medicine to promote outer radiance and inner serenity. The Vale also recently opened Chai Café and a newly decorated foyer area, which also offers boutique shopping. These new facilities sit alongside the resorts existing 19 treatment rooms, floatation tank, hydrotherapy bath, 20m swimming pool, Jacuzzi and steam room. Stephen Leek, managing director of the Vale Resort, said: 'To scoop the Good Spa Guide's highest possible rating after our refurbishment is a fantastic reflection on the new facilities we have to offer.' He added: 'Looking towards 2012, we're excited to see how our spa's new look and exclusive modern features will continue to provide the ultimate relaxation and pampering experience for our clients, while maintain the best possible price.'
