Carden Park Estate in Cheshire opening £6m spa in 2019
Carden Park Estate in Cheshire has secured planning permission to open a world class spa that will harness the tranquil location it’s set within.
Set to open in spring 2019 and estimated to cost £6m, the spa will have a strong focus on wellbeing, with 15 treatment rooms and two styles of relaxation facilities that reach out to a wellness garden, packed with a range of hydro, massage, steam and sauna spa therapies.
The spa pool will also stretch into the countryside, encompassing the spa’s natural countryside scenes into the design, and there will also be a champagne bar dedicated to manicures and pedicures and a rooftop bar area with first-class dining facilities. It will also create 20 new jobs in the spa industry.
Leading spa designers have been employed to maixmise sunlight in the design using glass, steel, stone and neutral tones inside and out.
“It’s going to be a wonder filled spa with all that the modern luxury a spa guest could ask for. We have deliberately set ourselves apart from other spa offerings nationally,” says general manager Paul Bayliss.
“With stunning panoramic views through to the variety of relaxation spaces and lounges, everything that guests could need lies within this spa. In addition, there will be floor to ceiling windows across the front façade, and every floor will offer guests a stunning experience and a perfect view of the fabulous Cheshire countryside and beyond."
Owner of Carden Park, Steve Morgan, added: “The treatment rooms are the kind that both guests and as importantly therapists, will find excellent along with perfect relaxation areas which have been created through guest feedback.
“Located in its own natural space at the front of the Hotel, the spa will become its own tranquil space and I’m certain from what we’ve seen within the industry, that it is as good as anything on offer in the UK and beyond."
Work is set to start on the spa in the new year.
