Whether your bride wants Old Hollywood Glamour on her big day, enhancing her own natural beauty or following heritage and traditional clothing, your task is to create a look that will entrance even the most demanding of clients. Capture your bride’s essence with flawless makeup, hair, nails and styling. Remember that your finished look needs to work at a distance as well as close up.
You must plan the overall look to include hair and makeup, hair prep may be done prior to the competition starting (i.e. hair in rollers or grips). You must do final styling to your model’s hair and do all make up from beginning to end in the time allocated. You may use a clothes stylist or dress the model yourself.
Your accompanying Mood Board will storyboard your inspiration and vision and must include a headshot of what your model looks like normally. You’ll be talking through this with the judges to walk them through your creation. Style your model to complete your look, with carefully sourced clothing and great looking hair to reflect your creation.
How To Enter
Entry fees for the Professional Beauty make-up competitions are £35 for professionals and £20 for students.
To enter the bridal make-up competition:
- Register for your free ticket to Professional Beauty London 2024
- Go to the 'What's On' section and click the Make-Up Competitions.
- Choose the category/categories you would like to enter.
- Add to basket and follow through to checkout.
The deadline for entries is 10am on Thursday 29th February.
