9:00am - 10:00am The Freestyle Massage category offers massage therapists the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and versatility in massage and bodywork. Drawing inspiration from both Western and Eastern modalities, participants can incorporate a diverse range of techniques and tools, including hot stones, bamboo sticks, Thai tools, singing bowls, reflexology tools, cupping, acupuncture, and more. With a focus on individual expression and innovation, participants are encouraged to showcase their unique skills and styles, creating an engaging and dynamic massage experience. Organiser will put you into the rounds at 8am The Spa/Wellness Massage category focuses on classical Swedish, Beauty, and SPA-style massage techniques, providing participants with a platform to showcase their classical massage skills. Freestyle Category Round 3 & Eastern Category

12:00 - 1:00pm Duration: 1 hour Based on Eastern medical systems and techniques, the Eastern Massage category showcases modalities such as Traditional Thai Massage, Thai Yoga massage, Shiatsu, Ayurveda, and Indonesian and Polynesian techniques. Participants have the option to incorporate tools such as singing bowls, scarves, bamboo sticks, and stones, adding depth and authenticity to their treatments. While tools are permitted, acupuncture and cupping techniques are excluded, aligning with the category's focus on traditional Eastern massage practices.

Swedish/Deep Tissue & Advanced/Clinical Categories Round 1

9:00 - 10:00 Duration: 1 hour This category is designed for massage therapists proficient in advanced massage techniques, catering to clients with specific needs such as deep tissue, remedial, sports injuries, myofascial release (MFR), neuromuscular therapy (NMT), trigger point therapy, mobilization, and other advanced modalities. It is well-suited for clinical therapists, including physiotherapists, osteopaths, and chiropractors who integrate massage treatments into their practice. Participants are encouraged to showcase their expertise without incorporating manipulations. Additionally, a Medical/Clinical subcategory is available for participants utilising tools such as cupping (dry/fire cupping), dry needling, massage guns, and moxibustion, catering specifically to medical and clinical skillsets. Duration: 1 hour Ideal for massage therapists qualified in Classic Swedish or Deep Tissue massage techniques, the Swedish/Deep Tissue Massage category emphasizes traditional massage movements and relaxation.
