Langdale Estate opening new sensory spa in the Lake District

The Langdale Estate in the Lake District is opening a new state-of-the-art spa in November.

The Brimstone Spa will have 10 treatment rooms, seven thermal experiences (including a Himalayan salt steam grotto and lava sauna), an infinity pool, private spa suite for two called The Bubble and a deli.

There will also be five chill out areas including a deep relax space with relaxation pods and a peaceful space overlooking the premises surrounding woodlands.

Guest can choose from a range of sensory treatments inspired by the Lake District’s landscape, including body treatments that use alchemy products created with natural, organic and local ingredients and the Comfort Repose treatment, which is gentle enough for guests who are undergoing chemotherapy.

Dan Visser, sales and marketing director for the Langdale Estate said: “Brimstone Spa marks the next stage in the evolution of the Langdale Estate to a luxury hotel resort. We have launched Brimstone Hotel, our new restaurant Stove and are now looking forward to unveiling Brimstone Spa.”

The spa will only be available to guests who are staying at the Langdale Estate, costing £45 per day.
