First Dr Leah clinic to open next week

The Apprentice winner Dr Leah Totton will open her first clinic in partnership with Lord Alan Sugar this month.

Since Professional Beauty reported the launch in the January issue of the magazine, the opening date has been rescheduled. The clinic will now hold a launch event on January 22.

Meanwhile the website will launch this week, allowing people to book appointments to take place from January 29 onwards.

The first clinic will be in a ground floor site on Chiswell Street in the City of London. Treatments on offer will include botox, dermal fillers, glycolic peels, dermal rollering and diamond microdermabrasion.

There will be a menu of facials, each targeting a specific skin concern, including pigmentation, acne and skin tightening. The clinic will also offer consultations for cosmetic surgery.

The clinic will be the first in the UK to carry the 3D-Lipomed machine – a medical version of 3D-Aesthetics’ 3D-Lipo, which offers cryotherapy fat freezing, cavitation and radiofrequency skin tightening.

Treatment prices will range from £50 for a 25-minute Express Rejuvenating Facial to £450 for cyro fat freezing.

Dr Totton will work from the clinic, managing a team of therapists, nurse prescribers and doctors. Clients will pay a premium for treatments with Totton herself. For example, the clinic will charge £300 for lip enhancement, rising to £370 when performed by Totton. Skin analysis consultations will be free with a therapist and charged at £50 with Totton.

The launch marks the first in a planned nationwide roll-out of branded clinics following Dr Totton’s victory in BBC series The Apprentice in July.
