Software to get clients talking about your business

New social marketing software tools are turning clients into subtle advertisements for salons and spas.

Marketing your salon is one of the key reasons to invest in management software, but new developments are now creating opportunities to put that responsibility into the hands of your clients, through smartphone apps or loyalty key fobs that keep your brand in their handbags, and therefore in their minds and in front of their friends, on a daily basis.

Meanwhile new options for social marketing are encouraging clients to review and actively recommend your services to their like-minded friends.

Branded salon apps are one of the newer services from Irish software brand Phorest and were created to simplify online real time bookings, but they also allow salons to send notifications of special offers.

Perhaps an even stronger form of marketing, however, is the way the app enables the salon brand to enter the client’s daily life through a constant presence on their phone.

Similarly, Premier Software introduced a small loyalty card last year that attaches to a client’s keyring much like a Tesco Clubcards, placing the salon’s branding in the clients’ hands and in front of their friends.
