Professional Beauty London launches careers fair

This year’s Professional Beauty sees the London launch of the Careers Fair, aimed at students and young professionals looking to break into the spa and beauty industries.

The launch of the Careers Fair, taking place on Monday February 29 at Professional Beauty at the ExCeL exhibition centre in east London, follows the successful introduction of the concept at Professional Beauty North in Manchester in September last year.

The Careers Fair, to which a section of the show has been dedicated, will see UK spa and beauty employers make themselves available to students interested in a career in the industry, and to their lecturers.

Employers so far confirmed for the Careers Fair at the London show include the International Institute for Anti-Ageing (iiaa), which distributes Environ, Jane Iredale and the Advanced Nutrition Programme; skincare brands Jacqueline Piotaz and Jennifer Young Beauty Despite Cancer; Lash Harmony Academy; makeup brands NYX and Airbase; and makeup and lashes brand Mash Up London.

Career Fair attendees can quiz these and other leading brands on internships, career opportunities and what they look for in an employe, among other topics.

The Careers Fair is free for visitors to Professional Beauty.
