Easter nail art inspiration

Easter is just around the corner so now's the perfect time to experiment with fun, Easter-themed nail art. Pastel blues, greens and yellows may be the classic colours at Easter, but seeking out new designs will help your business stand out, as women will be showing them off everywhere over the long holiday. These elaborate designs aren't as hard to create as they look…

If you are feeling really artistic, BioSculpture is showing techs how to create cute chicks coming out of their eggshells and little bunnies with bows on their ears. The brand has also created a range of Easter nail art inspired by Dairy Milk chocolate, Creme Eggs and M&Ms, which are bound to impress your sweet-toothed clients.

Another, more simple idea is to mimic the colour of Mini Eggs by using pastel blues, pinks and yellows and adding either a contrasting colour on the tips as BioSculpture has done here. or white spots all over the nail as the brand did in the image at the top of this page.

Fabergé fun

fab eggs 2Talented Rose Labrum, an Alessandro nail technician, has created a collection of Easter nails inspired by Faberge eggs and couldn’t resist creating a couple of cute chicks alongside side that too. The Fabergé style is a sophisticated approach to Easter nails, and would appeal to clients who may not want bunnies and chicks on their nails but still want to join in with the Easter theme.

The main colours that were used in Rose’s nail art are Alessandro Colour Gels in Peppermint Party, Sparkling Lime and Wicked Jungle. All colours are £9.95+VAT.

Sophisticated spring

The look on the left was created using Salon Sytem’s Gellux collection in Jades of Gem, Orange Fizz, Cherry Garcia, Pink Champagne, Lime Sorbet and Purely White. Mixing Purely White, with Jades of Gem, Midnight Satin, Peach and Pink Champagne, created the second mosaic look.

A simple but effective design by Nubar Educator Rebecca Abernethy, shows how you can create Mini Egg nails using Gelicure Nail Art or Infinity Acrylics, with pastel colours and brown speckles over the top.

Cute creations

Incorporating spring details into her Easter-themed art, Nubar nail tech Lucy Price has used Nubar Nail Lacquers to design daisies and daffodils, along with classic Easter symbols such as little chicks, bunnies and Easter baskets.
