Professional Beauty London kicks off at ExCeL today

The UK’s largest trade beauty show has opened its doors, with a crowd of salon and spa owners, and therapists eager to check out the latest launches, industry trends and training opportunities.

Professional Beauty London is taking place today (Sunday 23) and Monday 24 February at London ExCeL and is hosting some of the biggest names in professional skincare, nails, tanning, make-up, equipment, and more.

With over 600 professional brands coming together, where visitors can check out all the newest launches from big name brands such as Elemis, Clarins, OPI, CND, Sienna X, Caci and Jessica. See full exhibitor list here.

Don’t miss the launch of Elemis’ Biotec machine and Crystal Clear’s new Comcit machine. Check out the new make-up range from HD Brows, and Louella Belle’s IBX nail repair system and don’t forget to visit Thalgo to see it’s new Silhouette treatment.

The seminar programme is jam-packed with innovative talks, inspiring speakers sharing their business ideas and knowledge to help your salon, spa, nail or medi-clinic business. Join our assistant editor Lucy Douglas at 14.15pm in a panel debate with Wahanda chief executive Lopo Champalimaud, social media consultant Catherine Treble, Phorest marketing manager Connor Keppel and Susan Routledge, owner of Finishing Touch Health and Beauty Clinic, discussing how salon owners can use e-commerce to their advantage. See full seminar line-up here.

Make sure you visit the live stages, which will be buzzing with demonstrations and industry figures over the two days.  At 15:30pm on the advanced and aesthetic live stage, Fiona Brackenbury, director of training and education at Decléor, will be talking about 40 years of anti-ageing expertise. Don’t miss Orly founder and chief executive Jeff Pink, who has flown over from the US and will be on hand to answer your questions on the PB live stage at 4pm.

To finish your day why not check out the International Nail Championship results, which will be announced at 5pm on the PB live stage. This year’s theme for the online photographic categories is Shopaholic.

Online registration is still open. Register in advance here and save yourself the £20 fee on the door.
