Center Parcs Sherwood Forest announces forest-themed spa concept

Center Parcs has announced plans to reinvent its Aqua Sana “World of Spa” concept at its Sherwood Forest location to “Forest Spa” – a new collection of spa experiences inspired by nature.

The £3m project, due to be completed in early 2017, will bring the essence of nature into the spa’s thermal and cooling experiences, featuring more than 10 experience rooms, relaxation areas and a treetop sauna.

The investment marks a significant move forward for the company’s Aqua Sana Spa brand, which emerged as a modest spa offering 14 years ago.

Sue Goddard, group leisure manager at Center Parcs, said: “Aqua Sana has been such a huge success over the years and we like to continue evolving so we continue to offer high-quality, inspiring experiences.

“The natural setting has always been a very special aspect for Aqua Sana and we feel now is the time to really celebrate this element by bringing it into the experiences at our Sherwood Forest spa.”

The spa’s current concept, “World of Spa”, brings experiences inspired by spas from Turkey to Japan.

Aqua Sana Spas are located at all five of Center Parcs UK sites.
