Aromatherapy Associates introduces wellbeing panel

Skincare brand Aromatherapy Associates has launched a wellbeing initiative in partnership with a panel of wellbeing experts.

The selection of wellbeing experts comprises six practitioners from around the world and across a range of different fields.

Aromatherapy Associates’ chief executive Tracey Woodward explained that the brand aims to help people feel physically and mentally stronger, not just through its products but by providing tools for a happier, more balanced life.

Speaking at the launch event for the initiative in London this week, Woodward said: “We want to be a brand that empowers people and that’s where our experts come in.”

The line-up includes fitness, nutrition and mindfulness expert Nicola Addison; founder of exclusive London-based personal training centre Eqvvs.

Aromatherapy Associates explained that Addison is: “Our spokesperson who will help drive the collaboration between exercise and wellness.”

The panel also includes Janet Tarasofsky founder of the company Speaking Rights, which trains people to have what Tarasofsky refers to as “courageous conversations”.

Tarasofsky looks at how people can stop shying away from difficult conversations sand develop “the courage to have proactive conversations that lead to progress”.

Also on the panel is somatic coach Jonathan Ward, founder of Conscious Living Coaching and a human potential coach for London’s The Hale Clinic.

Another wellbeing expert is wellbeing and lifestyle coach Yvonne Wake, a trained nutritionist whose consultancy offers detox, weight loss and health programmes and services.

Yoga teacher Julie Whitehead, who specialises in and runs laughter yoga workshops and retreats, and Karuna, who teaches what she describes as “real spirituality for a modern world” are also part of the panel.

Karuna’s philosophy is: “a three-pronged approach to freedom through alignment-based movement, enhanced energetic flow and greater mental clarity”.

The wellbeing panel will, among other things, offer advice on how Aromatherapy Associates products can help promote wellbeing, with each expert championing a specific collection from the brand.

They will be available for exert input for journalists for articles linked to their respective areas of expertise, and will also be present at Aromatherapy Associates' consumer and press events in 2017.
