Industry bodies and members of the public are being invited to have their say on the new draft European Standard dealing with non-surgical aesthetic treatments. The public consultation on the draft Standard is now open and will close on May 4.
The Standard, which is titled “Aesthetic medicine services: Non-surgical medical procedures”, will cover injectable treatments, chemical peels, and laser treatments.
The European Standard is separate from the work being carried out by Health Education England to develop a new training framework for non-surgical procedures in the UK, which was commissioned in the wake of the 2013 Keogh Review.
