Colaz salon chain opens first branch in the North

Aesthetic salon chain Colaz opened its sixth branch this weekend in Derby.

The salon, which will be run as a franchise, is the first for Colaz outside the Southeast of England. Its other branches are in Hounslow, Slough, Harrow, Southall and London Paddington.

Colaz salons are all run via franchisees and offer machine-based treatments including laser hair removal, electrolysis, microdermabrasion and semi-permanent make-up, plus some more classic beauty treatments such as massage and waxing.

The Derby salon opened on the city’s Pear Tree Road on Saturday, in a building that used to be the Normanton Hotel.

Colaz was founded by franchise owner Manroop Ahitan in 2005. In 2012 the company also launched training schools under the brand Beaulaz Beauty and Laser Training Center with locations in Slough, Hounslow, and Birmingham.
