The Nutraceutical Esthechoc, previously available in the UK only as a retail product and sold in Harrods (where it’s still retailed) has now also launched into the professional market.
Spas and salons are now also able to sell the product, said to boost skin health and have anti-ageing effects.
A 70% dark chocolate, rich in antioxidant polyphenols, Esthechoc contains the anti-inflammatory compound astaxanthin and the flavanol epicatechin, a cocoa extract said to boost microcirculation.
The makers recommends consumers to eat one small 7.5g bar of Esthechoc a day over a period of three weeks to protect the skin from oxidation and keep the collagen strong and healthy.
