Gin-themed spa opens in Glasgow

A gin-inspired spa has opened in Glasgow.

Claiming to be the “very first botanically-inspired day spa in the world”, The Gin Spa is in Glasgow’s Merchant City area and offers bespoke treatments and packages using JustBe Botanicals products and the expertise of Scottish aromatherpaist Gail Bryden. 

Massages and facials begin with a juniper foot soak and are followed by a complimentary gin and tonic and aromatherapy chocolate matched to the oil used in treatment. For nails, there's the option to add chrome or broken glass effects to gel-polish manicures.

The spa is run by the team behind gin bar Gin71, which has locations in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
