Brits are investing time into wellness by implementing self-care techniques into their routines, with searches for stress-reducing and mental and physical wellbeing tools rising by 113% since February 2018. 

The Knowledge Academy collected a list of 25 popular wellbeing techniques and investigated which tutorial had the highest search volume on YouTube to reveal the UK’s most popular wellness trends.

Ranging from exercises and changes of lifestyle to self-care routines, these techniques help reduce stress, recognise feelings and form a healthier lifestyle. 

Guided meditation ranked as the most popular wellbeing techniques Brits want to learn, with 14,000 monthly searches for relevant classes. The videos allow newbies to meditation to follow along and learn from experts as they find calm and inner peace.

With 11,000 monthly tutorial searches on YouTube, yoga for beginners ranked as the second most popular wellness technique, indicating that Brits are taking a new interest into their wellbeing as beginners take their first steps into the world of personal wellbeing.
