iiaa to host live event for skincare therapists
Skincare distributor the International Institute for Anti-Ageing (iiaa) has announced that it will host an event for skincare therapists in London in September. iiaa Live will include debates and talk, and will take place in a TV studio-style setting, focussing on skin health and ageing.
Hosted by TV presenter Anna Richardson, star of ‘You Are What You Eat’, the debate and talks will cover topics such as the Vitamin A revolution, SPFs and why skin cancer is rising and the effects of genes, diet and hormones.
The experts involved in the debates include Dr Des Fernandes, founder of Environ Skin Care, along with Professor Malcolm Maden, a geneticist and biologist at the University of Florida, who has centered his studies on the role of Vitamin A in regeneration and development.
Other speakers are dermatologist Dr Rachel Watson, who has based her research on understanding the mechanisms that lead to skin ageing, Kings College London based Professor Anthony Young, a specialist in photodermatology, and Professor Mark WJ Ferguson of the University of Manchester.
All of the speakers will report their most recent findings and draw on their wealth of research and experience to give therapists significant information on how to prevent and counteract signs of ageing.
The event will take place on September 8 2015 at the Royal Institution of Great Britain in London.
