New wellness specialists join London’s Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre

The Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre at London’s Hotel Café Royal has added two new wellness practitioners to its team.

Reiki master and crystal healing expert Bernice Robinson will offer 60-minute Reiki or Reiki Crystal Facials and her sessions at Akasha will aim to help clients relax, release tension and sleep better.

Health and wellness practitioner Yan Sophokleous specialises in deep release energy flow bodywork, which fuses Thai massage, lymphatic draining massage, Chinese acupuncture, cupping therapy, myofascial release and meridian stretch therapy to destress and further wellbeing.

Robinson and Sophokleous join a number of other wellness specialists at Akasha. These include Thai yoga massage specialist Andrea Spanu, nutritional therapist Zoë Stirling, fitness and lifestyle coach James Hardy and initiative counsellor Sinéad de Hora.

Akasha is centred on four of the classical elements: earth, water, fire and air. Faciliites include nine treatment rooms, including one suite, a lounge bar, an 18-metre pool and a steam room, sauna and whirlpool.

There is also a Vichy shower, a watsu pool and a private hammam, as well as a 300sq m gym and fitness studios offering yoga, pilates, tai-chi and meditation classes.
