Niyama Private Islands offers injectables as part of wellness series

Niyama Private Islands in the Maldives has announced an autumn/winter wellness series in collaboration with experts in a variety of disciplines.

From this month to January 2019, guests can visit the resort for a range of spiritual and physical therapies, from yoga to injectables.

Holistic therapist Muayad Najemeddin will be in residency from September 29 to October 26, running meditative yoga classes and private “energy purification” sessions with a focus on vibrational treatments, such as Tibetan singing bowls and Reiki.

Meanwhile yoga teacher and craniosacral therapist Jade Wood will provide a month of treatments in both group and private sessions, incorporating somatic movement techniques, aromatherapy and craniofacial massage. Guests can also visit for aesthetic therapies from husband and wife team Dr David and Deborah Alessi of the Alessi Institute for Facial Plastic Surgery and Beverly Hills IV Therapy.

Deborah Alessi will launch IV therapy in the island’s Drift Spa in October, providing guests with nutrient-rich formulations for specific indications.

From December 20 to January 8, David Alessi will practise non-invasive cosmetic treatments including his signature combination of Botox, filler and fat-reduction injectable Kybella.
