Revealed: PB World’s spa conference education line-up

International online conference Professional Beauty World is returning on February 28–March 2 and we can now reveal the amazing educational line-up we have in store for global spa operators.

Across the three-day virtual event, we will have two conference streams for spa professionals – Conversations on Wellness and Mentorship & Online Conference – covering everything you need to know to run a successful business through coronavirus and beyond.

One stream will cover hot topics on wellness while focusing on treating clients who are undergoing, or have undergone, cancer treatments; while the other stream will cover caring for your team, bringing back guests when you can reopen again and driving engagement for your spa online.

The educational conference streams for spa professionals at PB World are:

Stream one: Conversations on Wellness

The first conference stream – Conversations on Wellness (in association with Cancer Aware Directory) – will explore some of the biggest topical issues happening in spa right now, from creating truly personalised services to help clients reconnect and heal, to restorative wellness and the latest cancer statistics.

Each session will feature a panel of leading industry names, and one person on each panel will speak about the subject matter from the perspective of treating clients’ who are undergoing, or have undergone, cancer treatments, to make your spa a truly inclusive space.

Speakers on this conference include Julie Bach, executive director of Wellness for Cancer; Isabelle Wachsmuth, Art Impact for Health, World Health Organization; Mia Kyricos from Kyricos & Associates; Neil Jacobs, chief executive of Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas; Gareth Presch, founder and chief executive of World Health Innovation Summit; Vicky Fox from Yoga for Cancer, and more.

Stream two: Mentorship and Online Conference

The second stream – Mentorship & Online Conference – is a much more bespoke conference, which involves mentorships as well as engaging debates on the latest issues in spa.

36 spa professionals are to be mentored by one of our carefully selected mentors – leading names in the industry – which involve one-to-one sessions, followed by a group mentorship session, and then the key findings from these talks will be revealed in the educational sessions taking place at PB World.

The three biggest topics affecting spa will be discussed, which are caring for your team, bringing back guests post-lockdown and driving engagement online.
