Spanish skincare brand Sesderma has launched its results-focused vitamin C-based C-Vit range into the UK market.

The range arrives in the UK with six products, with additional products to be introduced further down the line.

The stable vitamin C derivative ethyl ascorbic acid is used across the range, as is Sesderma’s in-house antiox booster system. The system comprises ginkgo biloba extract and the flavonol quercetin, among other ingredients, and is designed to bolster the range’s antioxidant properties.

The products in the C-Vit range are said to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, even skin tone and have an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. The line includes the Liposomal Serum, the Moisturizing Facial Cream, the Radiance Glowing Fluid and the Eye Contour Patches. Also launching this month are the Eye Contour cream and the Radiance Revitalizing Facial Mask.

Other products in the C-Vit range are set to launch in the UK in September. Nanotechnology has been used in the C-Vit formulation, as across the Sesderma product lines, encapsulating active ingredients, transporting them faster and allowing them to penetrate deeper into the skin
