Viva Mayr opens clinic on London’s Harley Street
Renowned medical centre Viva Mayr is opening its first outpost outside Austria, on London’s Harley Street.
Viva Mayr London was is scheduled to open at the end of April. The clinic will “offer patients a unique introduction to modern Mayr medicine”, according to a statement released by the company.
The London location, which marks the first time the detox-focused medical centre has expanded outside its home country of Austria, will be headed up by senior members of the Viva Mayr medical team.
Co-founders Dr Harald Stossier and Dr Christine Stossier; Dr Sepp Fegerl, medical director of Viva Mayr’s Altaussee clinic; and Doris Schuscha, part of the medical team at the original Maria Wörth clinic, will rotate taking up weekly residence on Harley Street.
Services at the clinic, which will offer consultations and diagnostics, will range from blood tests, oxygen therapy and applied kinesiology, to stress testing and abdominal treatments.
Viva Mayr London will also host cooking classes led by chefs from the Maria Wörth and Altaussee clinics. The classes will be designed to demonstrate how to prepare dishes in accordance with the famous Mayr diet; centred on gut health, weight loss and the use of locally sourced and organic ingredients.
The clinic will also offer an evening programme of events, featuring lectures and guest speakers.
