Start with deep breathing exercises to promote relaxation. Sound bowl is placed on the stomach to help client relax, the rich deep tone when played can help clients reach a meditative state. Sound waves act on the energy field of the body. The sound is known to reduce cortisol levels, anxiety, fatigue and pain which are all symptoms of peri/ post menopause. This luxury treatment incorporates the legs, arms, hands, back, decollate, neck and scalp. I will use Ayurvedic massage movements with pressure points and lymphatic massage to reduce oedema, as water retention/ swelling is also a menopause symptom if the lymphatic system becomes compromised due to hormonal imbalance or lifestyle. The treatment is aimed at overall wellbeing of the client bringing together sound and massage combined therapy. It can help with focus and mental clarity and well-functioning lymphatic system can leave a client feeling lighter and reduce bloating. I will use pre-blended oils such as Lavender, clary sage and peppermint and an Organic oil as the carrier oil or I may use a pre blended Women’s wellness balancing oil The close is with one tap to the sound bowl to bring client back to awareness and showcase xa end of the treatment.
