Raison d'Etre appoints news managing director

Spa consultancy Raison d'Etre has appointed a new managing director.

Anna-Cari Gund, who has nearly 30 years experience in the spa and beauty industries, is also the president of Cidesco, which sets global standards for spa and beauty therapy. 

Gund’s career in spa and beauty includes serving as principle of Yrkeshögskolan för Hudvård & Spa, a higher education spa and beauty institute in Sweden, where Raison d'Etre is based, for 15 years. She continues to sit on the school’s board. 

Gund, who was vice president of Cidesco for eight years before becoming president in 2012, has also dedicated much of her time to lecturing at spa and beauty schools and colleges, and acting as an industry examiner.
