88% of UK women are self-conscious about facial hair

A huge percentage of women are concerned about hair on their face, according to a survey by online beauty retailer MakeupBox LDN and Lilibeth of New York, which manufacturers an at-home facial hair removal tool.
Of 2,500 UK women, the survey found 88% were self-conscious about unwanted facial hair, with 76% regularly having in salon treatments such as waxing and threading to remove it.
59% said they always carry tweezers with them and 56% said they tweeze a hair from their face at least once a day.
Wax alternative sugaring is experiencing a comeback and updating the hair removal sector, thanks to an all-time high in demand for vegan beauty products and services, even among women who aren’t vegan also buying into the trend.
