Crystal Clear founder honoured with Women in Business Award

Sharon Hilditch MBE, founder of anti-ageing skincare brand Crystal Clear, has been honoured with a “Decade in Excellence in Business” award at the Women in Business Awards 2013.

Hilditch founded Crystal Clear back in 1995, after spotting a gap in the market for a non-surgical treatment for skin resurfacing that bridged the gap between spa therapies and medical procedures.

Today, Crystal Clear microdermabrasion is one of the industry’s most popular salon treatment machines and has earned itself such A-list fans as Madonna, Kate Moss and Gwyneth Paltrow.

This year will see the launch of Crystal Clear’s latest product, an anti-ageing applicator that uses sonic technology to lift and firm the skin.

This award is the the latest in Hilditch’s collection, which also includes a Natwest Everywoman UK “Female Entrepreneur of the Year” Award from 2004 and the Prince Philip Medal she received in 2008.

The event was held by Merseyside-based group The Women’s Organisation in conjunction with Downtown Liverpool in Business, at the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool on Friday March 8.
