Habia teams up with salon marketing site PamperPad
Industry association Habia is collaborating with online salon marketing site PamperPad to promote beauty businesses and help consumers recognise industry professionals that are trained and qualified.
PamperPad, founded by Haylee Benton, aims to address the issues consumers have when trying to find professional beauty services in their local area that are performed by qualified therapists.
Consumers can leave salon reviews, as well as find discounts for services. The site also offers salons a business-to-business forum, which provides industry professionals help and support.
The digital platform is offering Habia members a four-month free trial for its marketing services.
Habia and PamperPad will be working together to also promote the Professional Registers, which launched in 2013 by Habia and Skills Active, so consumers can make an informed choice about whom they visit for beauty, nails and spa services and treatments.
Benton (pictured right) said: “By teaming up, PamperPad and Habia can help educate and support the industry with an easy to use hub. Qualifications and insurance documents are a big topic of discussion in the hair, beauty, nails and spa industries, PamperPad will be able to keep up to date with the latest qualifications and guidelines by working closely with Habia to ensure clients searching for treatments have as much information available to them as possible.”
