Thailand’s Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary and Holistic spa resort has introduced a new programme focused on emotional wellbeing. Embracing Change, which is the destination spa’s 12th wellness programme, provides support for anyone seeking help with psychologically challenging life situations.

Available as a five or seven-day programme and comprising a series of mentoring sessions with Kamalaya's meditation and life enhancement mentors, Embracing Change is targeted at those coping with a wide range of stressful issues and situations. These include grief, anxiety, relationship problems, difficulties at work and issues surrounding food and eating habits.

Created to address these and other concerns affecting emotional wellbeing, the programme, which launched on April 1, also incorporates traditional Chinese medicine, homeopathy, Reiki, Asian hand and foot massages, and other treatments.

Karina Stewart, co-founder of Kamalaya, said: “Our emotional state is pivotal to our experience of life and we often neglect our emotional balance, with external factors such as stress, ill health and fast-paced lifestyles aggravating [the situation].

Kamalaya’s Embracing Change program focuses on the body, mind and heart, helping you respond to everything life delivers through greater emotional balance."
