Avani Sepang GoldCoast Resort opens in Malaysia
Avani Hotels & Resorts, part of the Minor Hotel group, has opened its fifth property, the Avani Sepang GoldCoast Resort in Malaysia.
The 392-room beachfront resort, built on stilts over the water, includes an Avani Spa. Blending results-driven treatments with a focus on wellness, the spa takes an individualised service approach that allows guests to tailor-make their treatments and packages.
Other facilities at the resort include a pool, five restaurants and a bar, a kid’s club and an on-site activities centre offering go-karting, paintballing and other activities.
Avani Hotels & Resorts was set up in 2011 as a sister brand to Anantara, also part of the Minor Group, and to reinforce the hospitality group’s presence in India, Africa, and the Middle East.
