New beauty bookings site launches
A new bookings service for the beauty and wellness industries has launched, called Vaniday.
Vaniday, a service from Rocket Internet, the company behind beauty products subscription service Glossybox, aims to give beauty and wellness professionals a platform to promote their business.
Covering massage, nail, hairdressing, yoga, makeup and hair removal services, the site, which launched yesterday, will initially cover London, with plans to roll it out nationwide at a later date.
The website allows consumers to both book services in salons, and to book mobile therapists for at-home services.
For professionals, Vaniday manages their availability, bookings and payments.
The service can also send out newsletters and push notifications to customers on the salon’s or independent professional’s behalf.
Vaniday chief executive and founder Maxime Legardez said: “At Vaniday, our ambition is to connect anyone with the beauty and wellness services they need and we give professionals who sign up for the service the tools to put themselves on the map, stand out, and grow.”
