Out & about at the races

Towelling company BC Softwear hosted an afternoon at the races for some of the company’s key accounts, and other industry figures, on Monday June 29. 

Held in a private suite in the Paddock Pavilion at the Royal Windsor Racecourse, the networking event saw guests enjoy a buffet, drinks and coffee while watching and placing bets on the races in the sunshine. 

Among those who attended were Darren Dixon, spa manager at Pennyhill Park, Liz Dicker, spa director at The Grove, Alistair Johnson, director of consultancy Spa Creators and Anna Thomas, spa operations manager at Stoke Park.

Other guests included Matt Champney, trading director at hair and beauty products supplier Ellisons, William Orford, managing director of Blue Dragon Laundry & Dry Cleaning, Roo and Gerry Wilton from the Chocolate Boutique Hotel and the Professional Spa & Wellnes team. 

Laura Johnson, creative director at BC Softwear, said of the event: “Our mutual success in the spa world was not reflected in the race winnings, but we had fun!”

The event concluded with a set by the Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, the house band from celebrated London jazz club Ronnie Scott’s.
