Tanning treatments most in demand in North East

The North East is the tanning capital of the UK, according to new research carried out by money saving Vouchercloud.com.

The research, based on tanning-related searches on Vouchercloud.com’s website, found that 21.3% of all searches for fake tans or spray tans were made in the North East of England.

The North West came in second place, with 16.1% of the searches, followed by the East of England with 12.7%.

Southerners are more conservative when it comes to tanning, according to this research. London only accounted for 6.6% of the searches, fewer than Scotland and Wales. The South East and South West saw 5.3% and 4.3% of the searches, respectively.

The East Midlands were the least interested in tanning, with only 4% of the searches coming from that region.
