The Wax Show to expand and relaunch as Hair Removal Expo

The first Hair Removal Expo has been scheduled for November and is an expansion of last year’s inaugural Wax Show.

Rather than just waxing, this year’s event will cover all methods of hair removal from waxing to sugaring, threading, laser and electrolysis.

It will be held in a larger venue – Birmingham’s International Convention Centre – on November 16.

Waxing specialists Andy Rouillard (pictured) and Mat O'Marah will once again run the event, but this year business trainer Gill Morris of GMT TEC will also join as a director.

The new format will have three education streams, focusing on marketing, practical skills and allied services to help therapists, managers and salon owners grow their business. 

It will feature hands-on demonstrations, guidance from some of the industry’s best known educators, plus networking opportunities.

The team has set up a new website for anyone interested in getting involved in the event.
