Beauty therapists are the most likely to holiday with colleagues

Those who work in beauty and hair are most likely to spend time with colleagues out of work.

Online travel agency sunshine.co.uk carried out a survey of 2,187 people aged 21 and over and in full-time employment, and found the highest number who said they’d been away with a colleague in the last three years (29% overall) worked in the hair and beauty industries.

The site said the number of employees holidaying together had increased overall by 22% over the last three years. The most popular destinations were Spain, the Netherlands and France.

Chris Clarkson, managing director of sunshine.co.uk, said: "It was really interesting for us to take a look at within which industries employees are most likely to holiday together; clearly the social environment of the hair and beauty sector is a winning recipe for close work friendships!"
