Brow queen Karen Betts wins Outstanding Career Achievement Award
Brow queen Karen Betts scooped the Outstanding Career Achievement Award 2017 at the Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards.
The event, which took place at the Langham Hotel, London, on July 8, recognises the significant contributions made in the health, beauty and aesthetics industries by individuals, brands and organisations.
Betts is director and owner of beauty group High Definition and professional lash brand Nouveau Lashes, and founder of her own permanent make-up brand KB Pro.
The entrepreneur was recognised for her stellar reputation, microblading and permanent cosmetics skills – having been one of the earliest pioneers in the specialised art of medical tattooing, and for treating a wide range of patients every year including celebrities Katie Piper and Amy Childs.
The Safety in Beauty Campaign works to help, advise and assist customers when beauty and aesthetic treatments go wrong. The awards have been running since 2015.
