CARTER BEAUTY BY MARISSA CARTER EXPANDS INTO CANADA
Carter Beauty by Marissa Carter is launching in Canada this week with an event in Hudson’s Bay Shopping Centre, Toronto. Carter is the successful entrepreneur behind the tan brand Cocoa Brown and cosmetics brand Carter Beauty, which she unveiled last year. Before Cocoa Brown, she owned her own salon.
Carter Beauty already got an international push recently when its gel eyeliner was worn by superstar Ariana Grande in her music video for new hit BRB. Make-up artist Rokael Lizam gave the company a shout out on social media when fans were asking what eyeliner Grande was wearing.
Meanwhile, Carter has alsoteamed up with the five-star Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa for a culinary collaboration.The brands joined forces to create a Carter Beauty-inspired afternoon tea experience, which launched on International Women’s Day on 8 March.
Available until the end of the month, the bespoke Carter Beauty by Marissa Carter Afternoon Tea, which is inspired by the brand’s Zodiac collection, will be served in the hotel’s Sugarloaf Lounge. The menu includes an array of mini dessert creations and anyone booking will be gifted one of Carter’s Mouth Matte lipsticks, which come in 20 shades.
