Chanel spa to open at the Ritz Paris

A Chanel spa will open at the Ritz Paris later this year, it has ben announced. The spa, Chanel au Ritz Paris, will be the first for the luxury French brand. 

Details of the spa remain under wraps, but it has been revealed that it will open, alongside the renovated Ritz Paris, later in the year. 

A Ritz Paris press release stated that: “Chanel au Ritz Paris is a new beauty concept dedicated to Chanel’s skincare.” 

In an official statement, Chanel said: “Chanel au Ritz Paris will provide women with a unique sensorial and customised experience.” 

Undergoing major renovation work, the Ritz-Paris has been closed since the summer of 2012. The hotel was famously home to Coco Chanel for 34 years, from the early 1903s onwards. Just as the property did previously, the renovated hotel will feature a Coco Chanel suite. 

Chanel said: “The story linking Chanel and the Ritz Paris would not be complete without the opening of a new Coco Chanel suite inspired by the one she originally occupied, and by the decor she loved so much.”
